Sweet Memories
As far back as I can remember I've always listened to country music. I can always remember every year on that second weekend in June going to the Country Music Fest on Ojibway Island. They never really had any big name artists, at that time anyways. They would become more famous a few years after they would perform at the music fest. Like Blake Shelton, which is one of my favorite artists.
Just recently, Ive seen Darius Rucker at the Dow Event Center and The Band Perry at the Midland County Fair. They were both great concerts, but out of the two, Darius Rucker would have to be my favorite concert. Not only did he sing country, but he sang quite a few songs from when he was the lead singer in Hootie and the Blowfish. I've always liked Hootie, but since Darius decided to go solo and sing country, I think I like his music better now.
With The Band Perry being such a new band, I didn't think that their concert would be that great. But, they definitely know how to put on a great concert and rock out. They sang songs from both of their albums, and did covers on other country songs. Honestly, some of the covers they sang sounded better than the person who actually sang the song.
From Randy Houser, Josh Thompson and Justin Moore who are coming to the Dow Event Center in mid November to all the Country Music Fests, I definitely plan on going to more country concerts and make more sweet memories.

Country artists rely on touring at lot, so they often give better concerts than big, famous rock bands. They need the connection with their fans more so they work harder at it.
